3. Introduction to Climate Justice.

Climate Justice means recognizing that climate

change has negative effects on most people in the world,

but impacts the poor and vulnerable the most – those who have

done the least to contribute to the problem.

Climate justice says that we in wealthy

countries – and the wealthier among us – who

have benefited the most from using fossil fuels, must do

more of

the heavy lifting to reduce our greenhouse gas (or carbon)

emissions. As well, actions to address climate change and

reduce

our greenhouse gas emissions must be

implemented in a

way that is fair and just.

Of course - there are those - who don't believe in climate

change -

let alone 'Climate Justice'
